Privacy Policy
Effective October 20, 2026
CuzFit Training is a private, invitation-only wellness and fitness service. This policy explains what information the service processes, why it is used, and the choices available to members.
Information we process
- Account and profile information: name, profile image, fitness goals, preferences, training availability, equipment, limitations, and upcoming events you choose to provide.
- Apple Health information: only the HealthKit categories you explicitly authorize, which may include workouts, active energy, heart-rate and recovery measurements, cardio fitness, walking heart rate, and related activity summaries.
- Coaching information: messages with the coach, generated guidance, plans, assessments, and the profile context approved for future coaching.
- Service information: device credentials, synchronization status, and limited diagnostic information needed to keep the service working.
- Competition information: selected activity totals and profile details that you choose to share with the invited family group.
How information is used
Information is used to synchronize your activity, display progress, generate personalized coaching and workout suggestions, support friendly family competition, maintain security, troubleshoot problems, and operate the service.
Health data
Health data is used only for health, fitness, coaching, and app functionality. It is not used for advertising, sold, or shared with data brokers. CuzFit does not write health data to Apple Health. Apple Health access can be changed at any time in iOS Settings.
Service providers and other members
CuzFit uses infrastructure providers to deliver the service securely. Selected profile, activity, and coaching context may be processed by OpenAI through its API to generate coaching responses. Internet traffic is protected through Cloudflare, and application data is stored in a privately operated database. These providers process information only to supply their services.
Other invited members see only the information made available in the CuzFit Competition experience. Private health details and coaching conversations are not shown to other members.
Storage, security, and retention
Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and protected by device-specific credentials. Data is retained while an account is active and as reasonably needed for security, backup integrity, and legal obligations. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and deletion
You control Apple Health permissions and can stop sharing competition data from the app. You can delete your CuzFit account and associated server data from Settings → Delete My Account and Data. Deletion is permanent. To request help with access, correction, or deletion, visit the support page.
Children and medical use
CuzFit is not directed to children under 13. The service provides general wellness and fitness guidance and is not medical care, diagnosis, or emergency advice. Consult a qualified professional about medical concerns or before beginning a new exercise program.
Changes
This policy may be updated as the service changes. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are made.
